Thom Child & Family Services in West Newbury, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Early Intervention team. You will deliver home- and community-based services to infants and toddlers birth to three, partnering with families to tailor plans to their priorities and culture.

Formación

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration of Allied Health Professions.
• Experience with infants, toddlers and families is preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Ability to engage in meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children, parents/caregivers, and community partners.
• Commitment to delivering individualized and culturally humble services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the client’s developmental status.
• Assess family and child strengths/resources, concerns, and progress.
• Provide child and family centered services for birth to three and their families using a parent coaching model.
• Provide service coordination by scheduling, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention plan.
• Partner with families in IFSP development to identify goals and strategies.
• Facilitate parent-child interactions to support development.
• Complete progress notes, reports, and correspondence using the Thom electronic documentation system.
• Provide individual and group intervention for infants and toddlers with developmental delays or at risk for delays.
