Job summary

Sunny Days Early Childhood Developmental Services Inc. in California is seeking Occupational Therapists to work with infants, toddlers and their families through home-based Early Intervention.

You will conduct developmental assessments, follow IFSPs, and coach families to help each child reach developmental goals in homes, daycare centers, and community settings. A California OT license and pediatric EI experience are required; bilingual Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• California OT license required.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Experience delivering therapy in family/home/community settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using family-centered coaching.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and collaborate with families to develop strategies for developmental goals.
• Use parent coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycare centers, community settings).
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports bi-annual.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
