Job summary

Paragon Technologies, a SunSource company, is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to develop new business and manage existing customers within a Portland, OR territory. The role requires homebased work in the Portland area with travel to customers and occasional long distances.

You will build a sales plan, establish long-term relationships, and work with service and technical teams to exceed targets. A relevant degree or experience is required; strong communication and CRM skills are

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED.
• Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or engineering OR 2-year technical degree in an industrial discipline (mechanical or related field) is preferred.
• 2+ years industrial sales experience with preference given to experience selling repair services within electronics, hydraulics, robotics, servos, and/or mechanical components.
• Experience with rebuilding and repair of hydraulic equipment of both mobile and industrial machinery is a plus.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
• Computer proficiency is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Overnight travel may be required.
• Role will routinely make on-site customer visits in industrial settings requiring the ability meet with customers at their locations and drive moderate to long distances.
• At times may be required to lift items weighing as much as 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sales plan to grow new customers and maintain existing accounts.
• Build and maintain long-term business relationships.
• Full-cycle prospecting activities including lead qualification, cold calling, and presentations.
• Regularly make in-person sales calls to existing customers and new prospects.
• Collaborate with service and technical teams to meet goals.
• Use CRM and tools to plan and manage time and territory.
