Qualifications

• California Occupational Therapy license required.
• Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide occupational therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with families to develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregiver confidence and ensure progress generalization.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, including homes, daycare centers, and community settings.
• Prepare reassessments and progress reports (typically bi-annual); maintain confidentiality per HIPAA/state/federal regulations.
