Job summary

Crudo Consulting in New York seeks a Flow Cytometry Sales Representative to drive new cytometry business with academic, clinical research and bio-pharma labs. The position is home-based with regional travel, requiring in-lab instrument demonstrations and end‑to‑end sales support.

You should have 5+ years of medical device sales and 3+ years flow cytometry experience, with a BA/BS in Life Sciences or closely related field. Past NY region IVD/hematology equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, or closely related discipline is required.
• 5+ years of medical device sales experience.
• 3+ years of flow cytometry experience.
• Previous experience in selling IVD and/or hematology equipment in the NY region.
• Home-based position with regional travel to customers' sites 3-4 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Achieve financial objectives within the assigned territory by identifying and supporting scientists in decisions when purchasing flow cytometry equipment.
• Responsible for technical in-lab demonstrations, pre & post-sales support, marketing and feedback, and customer satisfaction relative to sales activities.
• Understand the technical and application needs of customers and align those needs with instrument, reagent, software, and service packages.
• Manage administrative sales duties including monitoring expenses to budget, timely activity reporting, feedback on competitive products, and OHSA/Universal Lab precautions.
• Lead generation activities by participating in meetings as directed by Sales Management.
