Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Piqua, OH is seeking a Home Educator to partner with Head Start families in their homes, promoting positive parent-child interactions and development-centered parenting. The role supports families to assess needs, set goals, and access resources, helping children build school and life skills.

Eligible candidates will have a CDA credential (home-based) or equivalent, with an associate’s degree preferred; travel is required, and a background check, drug test, and physical are

Qualifications

• Home visiting experience preferred.
• Minimum of a home-based CDA credential or comparable credential.
• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Must be able to travel commuting area extensively; driver’s license required.
• Background check, drug test and physical required.

Responsibilities

• Visit families weekly and document activities and progress.
• Recruit, enroll and maintain eligible families for Head Start.
• Collaborate with families on IFSP/IEP or other plan goals.
• Coach parents in observation and developmentally appropriate practices.
• Provide resources for developmental, medical, dental screenings and related services.
