Job summary

Community Progress Council, Inc. seeks a Family Support Educator to build relationships with pregnant mothers and families of young children in the Early Head Start Home-Based Program. You will provide guidance, coaching, and support to help families achieve goals and promote healthy child development.

Responsibilities include delivering home visits, leading family activities, and connecting families to CPC programs and community services, with scheduling flexibility for evenings as needed.

Qualifications

• Home-Based CDA or comparable credential/degree program.
• Associate degree + 2 years experience may substitute for a bachelor’s Degree.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Understanding of child development and family engagement.
• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with data management systems.

Responsibilities

• Build individualized education, coaching and support to families with children from birth to age three.
• Deliver home visits and implement evidence-based curriculum.
• Promote positive parenting practices and strengthen parent–child relationships.
• Lead family activities and encourage engagement, learning, and peer connections.
• Conduct screenings, assessments, and observations to monitor child development.
