Job summary

Community Progress Council, Inc. seeks a Family Support Educator for our Early Head Start Home-Based Program. You will build strong relationships with pregnant mothers and families with children birth to three, delivering coaching, guidance, and support to promote healthy development.

You will use strengths-based coaching, connect families with resources, and collaborate with a dedicated team to achieve positive outcomes in the community.

Qualifications

• Home-Based CDA, comparable credential, or equivalent coursework through an associate or bachelor’s degree program.
• Associate degree in related field plus two years of relevant experience may substitute for a bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

• Build family relationships with children from birth to age three through individualized education and coaching.
• Deliver home visits using evidence-based curriculum to support healthy child development.
• Empower parents to promote positive parenting practices and strengthen parent-child relationships.
• Lead family activities and socializations to encourage engagement and peer connections.
• Support school readiness by conducting screenings, assessments, and observations.
