Job summary

Paycom seeks a Home Educator to partner with Head Start families in their homes, promoting positive parenting and family well-being. The role requires weekly visits, enrollment of eligible families, and collaboration with local agencies. A CDA or equivalent and a valid driver’s license are required.

The position offers education advancement support and comprehensive benefits. The wage ranges from $16.90 to $23.50 per hour, with full-time, full-year hours.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a home-based CDA credential or equivalent coursework as part of an associate’s or bachelor’s degree.
• Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services, or related field preferred.
• Willing to complete additional required training within 18 months for family support.

Responsibilities

• Visit families weekly, document activities and progress, and ensure access to developmental, social-emotional, medical and dental screenings.
• Recruit, enroll and maintain eligible families; develop rapport and provide ongoing services.
• Coach parents in observation and documentation techniques and in planning developmentally appropriate practices.
• Collaborate with local agencies and programs to serve families and meet case plans (IFSP/IEP).
• Support an educational home environment using curriculum activities and learning materials found in the home.
