Job summary

DOC Services Inc. provides preventative and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment in large retail stores across the US. Field Service Technicians work from home and travel to customer sites, performing electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic repairs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to equipment repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to service calls within customer expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide documentation as required by customer and DOC via handheld device.
• Order parts and maintain inventory for on-site repairs.
• Travel to and from customer locations and work independently.
• Evaluate preventable service issues and educate customers as directed.
