Job summary

DOC SERVICES is seeking Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electromechanical equipment inside big box retail stores. Technicians operate from home base, respond to service calls, and work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Candidates need a high school diploma, at least two years of repair experience, the ability to read schematics, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and call management software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read schematics.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Know and follow safety regulations relating to equipment repair.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record; insurance proof.
• Background check required; professional appearance and attitude.
• Written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Adhere to OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE.
• Respond to service calls within customer and DOC requirements.
• Provide documentation via handheld device as required.
• Perform cost effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Seek technical support on-site to avoid delays.
• Travel to and from customer locations and carry parts as needed.
• Maintain inventory and keep parts organized for rapid access.
• Arrive on-time with tools, parts and safety gear; work independently.
