Job summary

DOC SERVICES seeks Electromechanical Field Service Technicians to service electromechanical equipment in big box retail stores. Technicians work from home, respond to service calls, and travel to customer sites across the US.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, at least two years of equipment repair experience, and the ability to read schematics. Strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, safety compliance, and solid communication skills are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years of equipment repair experience or combination of training and experience.
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge; ability to read and understand schematics.
• Use computer applications including Microsoft Office and call management software.
• Know and understand safety regulations required as it relates to equipment repair.
• Strong organization skills; self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record along with proof of insurance.
• Satisfactory background check is required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and behavior, and a positive attitude.
• Written, verbal and electronic communication skills.
• Other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform billable work by maintaining, troubleshooting and servicing equipment.
• Abide by OSHA, customer and DOC safety regulations including PPE requirements.
• Respond to service calls within expectations and DOC requirements.
• Provide all documentation as required by customer and DOC through handheld device.
• Perform cost effective service and repairs while maintaining quality.
• Seek technical support onsite promptly to avoid delays.
