Job summary

Abound Health is seeking compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in Rebersburg, PA. You will provide one-on-one assistance in clients’ homes and communities to help them live safely and independently.

We offer full-time and part-time hours with a $1,000 signing bonus and a pay range of $17.00–$25.00 per hour. Training is provided; drivers’ license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Pass background checks and driving license required.
• Comfort with personal-care and behavioral-support needs.
• One year of caregiving experience preferred; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support developmental, social, and vocational skills.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Work independently in home and community settings.
