Job summary

Abound Health is hiring compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in Honesdale, PA and surrounding areas. This role offers one-on-one in clients' homes and communities, with the goal of helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Full-time and part-time hours available, with weekly pay and a $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, depending on hours worked, plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• One year of caregiving experience preferred (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities.
• Support development of behavioral, social, and vocational skills.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
