Abound Health is seeking a compassionate Home‑Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a woman living independently in her own apartment in Sellersville, PA. This part‑time role offers growth into full‑time hours with a schedule including Tue Thu Sat.

Compensation ranges $17.00–$25.00 per hour, with weekly pay and onboarding benefits. You will provide one‑on‑one support in her home and community to maintain independence and build daily living skills.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal‑care and behavioral‑support needs.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Physical ability to assist with light tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support daily living skill development.
• Assist with laundry at the local laundromat.
• Teach folding, organizing, and putting away clothing.
• Support with cooking and meal preparation.
• Assist with home cleaning and organization.
• Encourage independence and confidence in daily routines.
• Follow support plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and community engagement.
• Work independently in home and community settings.
