Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist a woman living independently in her own apartment in Sellersville, PA. This part-time role supports daily living skills and community-based routines.

You will work 2pm–6pm Tue/Thu and 11am–3pm Sat, with potential to grow into full-time hours. Weekly pay and onboarding are provided, along with benefits based on hours worked.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with light tasks as needed

Responsibilities

• Support daily living skill development
• Assist with laundry at the local laundromat
• Teach folding, organizing, and putting away clothing
• Support with cooking and meal preparation
• Assist with home cleaning and organization
• Encourage independence and confidence in daily routines
• Follow support plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and community engagement
• Work independently in home and community settings
