Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver to assist an individual in the Honesdale area. 17 hours per week with flexible scheduling and a $1000 signing bonus. Location is Honesdale, PA and surrounding areas.

You will provide mobility transfers, daily living support, and health monitoring, with paid onboarding and ongoing mentorship. Prior caregiving experience is valued, but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical capability to lift and perform full‑assist transfers.
• Ability to pass criminal background, driving record and healthcare registry checks.

Responsibilities

• Mobility support with full assistance for transfers.
• Personal care including bathing, toileting and hygiene.
• Medical & dietary care including tube‑feeding and medication monitoring.
• Assist client communication using iPad, pictures and non‑verbal cues.
• Provide calm behavioral support and maintain a structured environment.
• Document daily services and communicate with families and Abound team.
