Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support a woman in Sellersville, PA. This part-time role offers $17.00–$25.00 per hour with potential growth into full-time hours.

You will provide one-on-one support in her home and community, helping with daily living skills, housekeeping, cooking, and independent routines while documenting progress and ensuring safety. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Interest in supporting individuals with I/DD and teaching independence.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance.
• Comfortable supporting personal-care and behavioral needs.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to pass background checks.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in home and community to maintain independence.
• Support daily living skills and household tasks.
• Assist with laundry, folding, organizing clothing, and meal prep.
• Help with home cleaning and organization.
• Encourage independence and document progress per plans.
• Provide companionship and community engagement.
• Work independently in home and community settings.
