Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Nazareth, PA area. This full-time position offers one-on-one assistance in the home and community to build independence and daily living skills.

You'll work closely with the individual to promote social engagement, employment skills, and personal goals, while following care plans, documenting progress, and participating in ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support community participation and social skill development.
• Assist with cooking, meal planning, and healthy living skills.
• Help develop budgeting and money-management skills.
• Support household management and independent living skills.
• Assist with employment exploration and job-readiness goals.
• Provide transportation to appointments, activities, and community outings.
