Job summary

Abound Health is seeking Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in the Lehigh Valley region. Various hours available, including full-time and part-time roles. Earn $17.00–$25.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus.

Responsibilities include 1:1 support, skill development, community activities, and documentation. Applicants should be 18+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance.
• Pass background checks.
• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one support in clients’ homes and communities.
• Support behavioral, social, and vocational skill development.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
• Work independently in home and community settings.
