Job summary

Abound Health is seeking a compassionate Home-Based Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an individual with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Nazareth, PA area. This full-time role focuses on promoting independence, daily living skills, and meaningful community involvement.

You will work one-to-one, follow individual support plans, assist with cooking and budgeting, provide transportation, and help with job-readiness goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to provide transportation in the community.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license and active car insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow support plans.

Responsibilities

• Support community participation and social skill development.
• Assist with cooking, meal planning, and healthy living skills.
• Help develop budgeting and money-management skills.
