Job summary

Abound Health is hiring Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with I/DD in the Lehigh Valley area (Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and surrounding communities). Roles are in clients' homes and communities with flexible schedules, weekly pay, and a $1,000 signing bonus.

Full-time and part-time positions available, with benefits based on hours worked. Responsibilities include one-on-one support, skill development, community participation, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD
• Ability to work independently and responsibly
• Valid driver’s license and active car insurance
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying personal-care and behavioral-support needs
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass background checks
• Physical ability to assist with lifting or transfers if needed

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities
• Help clients develop behavioral, social, and vocational skills
• Assist with recreational and community activities
• Follow treatment plans and document progress
• Provide companionship and respite care
• Submit documentation and payroll on time
• Participate in ongoing training
• Work independently in home and community settings
