Job summary

Abound Health is hiring compassionate, reliable Home-Based Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Centre Hall, PA. The role involves providing one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities to help them live safely, independently, and with dignity.

Full-time and part-time hours are available. Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour with a $1,000 signing bonus for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in supporting individuals with I/DD.
• Ability to work independently and responsibly.
• Must pass background checks.
• One year of caregiving experience preferred (training provided).
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in clients’ homes and communities.
• Support development of behavioral, social, and vocational skills.
• Assist with recreational and community activities.
• Follow treatment plans and document progress.
• Provide companionship and respite care.
• Submit documentation and payroll on time.
• Participate in ongoing training.
• Assist with personal care needs as required.
