North American raw material specialty chemical supplier is seeking an Account Manager in the Los Angeles area to sell specialty chemicals to the Personal Care and Industrial markets. This is a home-based role with daily travel into the territory and overnight travel <10%.

You will call on labs, formulators, chemists, and purchasers, building strong relationships and establishing yourself as a subject matter expert while driving new business opportunities across Southern California.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience selling raw material chemicals to the personal care and/or industrial markets.
• Bachelor’s degree required; science degree preferred.

Responsabilités

• Sell a broad range of raw material specialty chemicals to the Personal Care & Industrial markets in Southern California.
• Call on existing accounts in the region, as well as new prospective accounts.
• Develop territory strategy and execute the plan; communicate with internal departments and senior leadership.
• Travel overnight as needed (under 10%).
