Verdant Specialty Solutions is seeking an Account Manager – Specialty Chemical for Home and Personal Care, working remotely on the East Coast. You will grow the business by identifying and closing new opportunities, and strengthening key accounts.

You will bring 5+ years of HPC chemical sales, a STEM degree, travel about 40%, and collaborate with technical and operations teams to deliver customer success.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of specialty chemical sales to the HPC industry.
• Proven success identifying, pursuing, and closing new business opportunities.
• STEM degree in a relevant field.
• Willing to travel ~40% and build lasting client relationships.
• Self-motivated, data-driven, and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business by identifying, developing, and securing new opportunities with Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators and service companies.
• Own accounts and expand relationships with existing clients, becoming their go-to partner for specialty chemical solutions.
• Provide technical and commercial answers to production, completion, and drilling challenges.
• Track market trends, competitors, and regulations to keep our solutions leading edge.
• Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and field trials.
• Deliver results by reporting sales forecasts, pipelines, and performance metrics with precision.
