Job summary

Mid States Concrete Industries seeks a Hollowcore Supervisor in South Beloit, IL to lead daily Hollowcore production, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. This role oversees Kitting/Woodshop/Foam operations and coordinates with Planning, Engineering, QA, Maintenance, and Shipping to maintain uninterrupted production.

The ideal candidate will develop employees, uphold production standards, maximize bed utilization, and drive continuous improvement with a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• PCI Level I or II certification.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician - Grade I.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3+ years leadership experience.
• Experience leading crews and coordinating daily production activities.
• Knowledge of Hollowcore production processes.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute production schedules established by the Production Manager/Manager of Planning & Throughput.
• Coordinate daily bed assignments and production priorities.
• Monitor production progress and ensure beds are stripped, cleaned, set up, stressed, produced, cured, cut, and released efficiently.
• Remove production bottlenecks and balance manpower across Hollowcore and supporting operations.
• Ensure daily and weekly bed production goals are achieved safely and efficiently.
• Maintain consistent workflow between stripping, setup, production, cutting, and material handling.
• Coordinate daily labor requirements and review upcoming Hollowcore production requirements.
