Job summary

Mid States Concrete Industries in South Beloit, IL is hiring for a full-time concrete production role. You will build forms, install rebar and insulation, read blueprints, and operate common tools while ensuring safety and quality on-site.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble concrete forms for pouring structural precast products.
• Install rebar, plates, mesh, and foam insulation according to construction plans.
• Read tape measures and blueprints to ensure structural integrity.

• Stress and secure rebar strands for structural stability.
• Maintain site safety and cleanliness; encourage team safety practices.
• Assist with training of less experienced team members.
• Work in all weather conditions and lift 50-100 pounds.

Key Responsibilities in Concrete Production & Construction:

• Build and assemble concrete forms for pouring structural precast products.
• Install rebar, plates, mesh, and foam insulation according to construction plans.

• Operate hand and power tools commonly used in concrete construction.

Concrete Construction Job Requirements:

• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable standing, lifting, kneeling, and operating on narrow surfaces up to 10 hours a day.
• Ability to read a tape measure and interpret technical construction drawings.
• Previous experience in concrete work, construction labor, or precast manufacturing is a plus.
