Job summary

FMOL Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe therapeutic care in a holistic approach, integrating education for patients and families. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team, plan care, and discharge planning while maintaining licensure requirements and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, documentation, teaching, and participation in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• Current Louisiana State license as RN; BLS certification; ACLS certification within first 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice and Care Management.
• Performs psychosocial/physiologic assessments and interprets data.
• Formulates a care plan and coordinates discharge planning.
• Tailors care to patient and family needs, including cultural/ ethical/ spiritual needs.
• Responds to changes in patient needs using clinical judgment.
• Documents all patient care activities per standards.
• Communicates and collaborates with the care team to maximize outcomes.
• Delegates tasks appropriately and participates in staffing decisions.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and applies evidence-based practices.
• Provides mentorship and supports professional development of staff.
