Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak days. Under guidance, you will focus on sales, store maintenance, and customer service while embracing the Circle of Life buy/sell/trade model.

You will greet guests, assist with gaming needs, stock shelves, keep the store clean and well merchandised, and help meet sales goals. Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required, with a strong emphasis on friendly service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or guest service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and assist with video gaming needs, recommending add-ons and thanking customers.
• Support store environment and sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking, ensuring products are presented well on the floor.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices.
• Adhere to company policies including attendance and confidentiality.
