The Salvation Army's Evergreen Unit seeks a Christmas Kettle Coordinator to lead the local kettle campaign. This on-site role reports to the EDS Administrative Assistant and drives planning, location scouting, and volunteer management for a successful season.

Responsibilities include securing locations, scheduling staff, training volunteers, managing equipment, and ensuring compliance with policies. This is a full-time, non-exempt, on-site position with seasonal benefits.

Qualifikationen

• College Degree preferred but not required.
• 2 years' experience in analytics, sales, or similar settings with attention to detail, time management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Reliable and able to resolve requests in a timely fashion.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; multi-tasking flexibility.
• Experience with Microsoft Office on Windows platforms.

Aufgaben

• Oversee preparation, management, and success of the Kettle program.
• Visit kettle locations before season, meet managers, and secure sites.
• Scout and secure new kettle locations and permissions.
• Coordinate permissions, insurance certificates, and property agreements.
• Schedule kettle workers and volunteers to cover peak foot traffic.
• Hire workers or volunteers; consider local musicians when possible.
• Organize events to raise kettle awareness and drive participation.
• Train and orient kettle workers; ensure proper paperwork.
• Review equipment, repairs, and purchases as directed.
• Create daily/weekly schedules and adjust as needed.
• Manage payroll-related scheduling information and compliance.
