Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team on a short-term basis by delivering outstanding guest service and facilitating the Circle of Life buy, sell, trade, and reservation activities. The role centers on helping customers in a fast-paced holiday sales environment.

You will participate in daily store operations, assist with merchandising and stock, maintain clean spaces including restrooms, and work with the team to achieve sales and service goals while upholding

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or guest service preferred.
• Availability during peak seasonal days.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Support store sales initiatives and shopping environment during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep areas clean, organized and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise while keeping shelves presentable and alphabetized.
• Help the team meet sales, profit and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and adhere to safety best practices.
