Job summary

GameStop Corp. is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak shopping periods, delivering best-in-class guest service while engaging in sell, buy, trade, and reservation activities.

You will help maintain the shopping environment, stock shelves, assist customers, and uphold store policies, with emphasis on flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests at every interaction.
• Support the overall shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the store team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking merchandise and transferring products from stock room to selling floor, ensuring presentation.
• Help meet sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and escalate issues to a store keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices; be aware of scams and safety best practices.
• Adhere to GameStop policies, including attendance and confidentiality.
