Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak shopping periods. You will focus on sales, guest service, store maintenance, and helping with stock and merchandising.

You will greet guests, recommend products, keep aisles clean, assist in shelving, and uphold store policies while working flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a HS diploma or equivalent, and prior retail or guest service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests, assisting them with video gaming needs, recommending items, and thanking guests for shopping with GameStop.
• Support the shopping environment and contribute to store sales initiatives during the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep all areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Assist in stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure items are presented on the selling floor.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly, escalate to a store keyholder as needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices and be aware of scams.
• Adhere to GameStop policies and procedures (attendance, confidentiality, ethics).
