Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to join the store team on a short-term basis during peak shopping periods. You will deliver guest service excellence, assist customers with video gaming needs, and support day-to-day store operations to drive holiday sales.

The ideal candidate is 18+, has a HS diploma or equivalent preferred, and enjoys a fast-paced retail environment with flexible scheduling including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail sales or guest service experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with video gaming needs.
• Support store sales initiatives and the holiday shopping environment.
• Keep store areas clean, organized, and merchandised per guidelines.
• Stock and restock merchandise, ensuring items are well presented and alphabetized.
• Assist in meeting sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions and escalate to a store keyholder when needed.
• Follow safety and loss-prevention practices and adhere to store policies.
