Job summary

GameStop is seeking a Seasonal Sales Associate to support the store team during peak periods. You will focus on sales, store maintenance, and delivering outstanding guest service in a fast-paced holiday environment.

You will greet guests, assist with gaming needs, maintain clean and organized aisles, stock merchandise, and help meet sales goals while upholding store policies. Ideal candidates are 18+, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and prior retail or guest service experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail sales or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class customer service by greeting guests and assisting with gaming needs during every interaction.
• Support store visuals, operations, and sales initiatives throughout the holiday season.
• Collaborate with the team to keep areas clean, organized, and merchandised according to guidelines.
• Assist stocking and restocking merchandise and ensure items are presented and alphabetized on the sales floor.
• Help the team meet and exceed sales, profit, and shrinkage reduction goals.
• Address guest questions promptly and professionally, escalating to a keyholder when needed.
• Support inventory control and loss prevention practices, and follow safety best practices.
