Job summary

Metropolitan Ministries, inc. is seeking a part-time, temporary Customer Service Associate to support the Tampa Bay holiday effort.

You will manage donor interactions, assist with donor reception, and supervise volunteers to ensure smooth operations during the peak months of November and December. The role emphasizes excellent customer service, teamwork, and accurate data handling while working in a fast-paced, community-driven environment.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED completed.
Ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team; must communicate effectively in English.
Dependable with maturity and sensitivity to diversity; able to plan and organize work and attend to detail.

Responsibilities

Greet and thank each donor who drops off donations or drives through donor collection areas.
Assist with collecting donations tallied by weight and/or count.
Collect donor bio information digitally and record donation amounts; email receipts.
Oversee and participate in donation sorting as needed.
Train and supervise volunteers performing these tasks.
Ensure protein counts are recorded in tracking software.
Assist Holiday Volunteer Leaders during distribution days and other tasks as assigned.
