Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to work within a multi-disciplinary team framework; must be able to communicate effectively in English; must be dependable; demonstrates maturity and sensitivity to issues of faith, culture, and other sources of diversity; ability to plan and organize work and attend to detail; ability to handle job-related matters in a professional and diplomatic manner.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and thanking each donor who drops off donations or drives through donor collection areas.
• Assist with collecting donations which will be tallied by weight and/or count.
• Collect donor bio information digitally, record donation amounts, which will digitally send donor an emailed receipt.
• Oversee and participate in donation sorting as needed.
• Train and oversee volunteers who will perform these same tasks.
• Assure protein counts are recorded in appropriate tracking software.
• During distribution days, CSA will be available to guide and assist Holiday Volunteer Leaders.
• Support Metropolitan Ministries in other tasks as assigned.
