Job summary

Metropolitan Ministries is seeking a Customer Service Associate to support the Tampa Bay holiday drive by greeting donors, guiding donation flow, and supervising volunteers. You will collect donations, record donor information, and help ensure accurate counts and receipts while working with staff and volunteers in a busy seasonal setting.

The role emphasizes teamwork, dependability, and a compassionate approach to community service during November and December, with a Monday–Saturday schedule

Qualifications

Must communicate effectively in English and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
Depencability and maturity to handle sensitive situations with diversity awareness.
Ability to plan, organize, and attend to detail in a fast-paced donation setting.

Responsibilities

Greet and thank each donor dropping off donations or driving through donor collection areas.
Assist with collecting donations and tally by weight or count.
Record donor bio information and donation amounts for receipts.
Oversee and participate in donation sorting as needed and train volunteers.
Ensure protein counts are recorded in tracking software.
Guide Holiday Volunteer Leaders during distribution days.
Support Metropolitan Ministries in other tasks as assigned.
