Job Description: Heart of House Line Cook
General Purpose of the Job

This role requires the Twin Peaks Heart of House Line Cook to prepare high-quality food for guests. All team members are expected to meet strict standards for food quality, sanitation, and safety.

The Uniform
  • Wear a clean TP black hat facing forward at all times, brim never bent.
  • Keep hair clean and tucked underneath the hat.
  • Maintain a clean-shaven face; beards and mustaches must be well-groomed.
  • Trim fingernails regularly.
  • Remove jewelry from ears, face, neck, and wrists.
  • Do not wear headphones or earbuds.
  • Wear a clean, non-faded, and wrinkle-free TP kitchen shirt tucked in.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to uniform standards.
  • Follow prep and line build recipes accurately.
  • Check the quality of ingredients.
  • Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment.
  • Follow all standards, safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Train using tablets or computers.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Line Cook.
  • Ability to communicate in English, understand recipes, and follow procedures.
  • Ability to apply simple instructions and handle standardized situations.
  • Attend orientation and complete all required training, including food and alcohol service certifications if applicable.
Physical and Work Environment

The role requires standing, walking, handling objects, and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds. Vision, hearing, and reaching are necessary. The work environment includes exposure to kitchen fumes, humid conditions, cleaning chemicals, and possibly smoke.
