Job Description: Heart of House Line Cook
General Purpose of the Job

This role requires the Twin Peaks Heart of House Line Cook to prepare high-quality food for guests. All team members are expected to meet high standards of food quality, sanitation, and safety.

The Uniform
  • Wear a clean TP black hat facing forward at all times.
  • Keep hair clean and tucked underneath the hat.
  • Maintain a clean-shaven face; beards and mustaches must be groomed.
  • Trim fingernails regularly.
  • No jewelry in ears, face, neck, or wrists.
  • No headphones or earbuds.
  • Wear a clean, non-faded, and wrinkled TP kitchen shirt tucked in.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to uniform standards.
  • Follow prep and line build recipes.
  • Check ingredient quality.
  • Keep stations and equipment clean and organized.
  • Follow safety and sanitation standards.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Train using tablets or computers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Proven experience as a Line Cook.

Language Skills

Ability to communicate in English, understand prep recipes, and line build procedures.

Reasoning Ability

Apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple instructions; handle standardized situations.

Certificates and Training

Attend orientation and complete required training, including food and alcohol service certifications as applicable.

Physical Demands

Stand, walk, handle objects, reach, lift up to 15 pounds, and have good vision.

Work Environment

Exposure to kitchen fumes, humidity, cleaning chemicals, and possibly cigarette smoke in some locations.
