Job Description: Heart of House Line Cook
General Purpose of the Job

This role requires the Twin Peaks Heart of House Line Cook to prepare high-quality food for every guest, maintaining standards of food quality, sanitation, and safety.

The Uniform
  • Wear a clean TP black hat facing forward at all times, brim never bent.
  • Keep hair clean and underneath the TP hat.
  • Maintain a clean-shaven face; beards and mustaches are allowed but must be maintained.
  • Keep fingernails trimmed.
  • Remove jewelry from ears, face, neck, and wrists.
  • Do not wear headphones or earbuds.
  • Wear a clean, non-faded, and wrinkle-free TP kitchen shirt tucked in.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Adhere to uniform standards.
  • Follow prep and line build recipes.
  • Check ingredient quality.
  • Maintain clean and organized stations and equipment.
  • Follow all standards, safety, and sanitation requirements.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Train using tablets or computers.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience

Proven experience as a Line Cook.

Language Skills

Ability to communicate in English and understand prep recipes and line procedures.

Reasoning Ability

Apply common sense and understanding to follow simple instructions; handle standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Attend orientation, agree to policies, complete training, and obtain any required local or state certifications.

Physical Demands

Must be able to stand, walk, handle objects, and lift up to 15 pounds. Vision abilities include close, peripheral, depth perception, and focus.

Work Environment

Exposure to kitchen fumes, humid conditions, cleaning chemicals, and possibly cigarette smoke.
