Qualifications

• Strong foundation in GAAP and HOA-specific accounting standards.
• Experience with multi-entity corporate structures and intercompany transactions.
• Proven ability to present financial data to boards, lenders and auditors.
• Transition management from developer to owner control.

Responsibilities

• Oversee long-term budget planning with executives and leaders, aligned with strategic plans.
• Supervise budget implementation, monitor progress, and report metrics internally and externally.
• Ensure monthly and annual financial statements conform to GAAP and organizational policies.
• Oversee cash management and tax nexus implications with third-party advisors for multi-jurisdictional ops.
• Prepare and analyze financial data to assess performance and present reports to board and management.
• Coordinate all finance, accounting, audit and tax with third-party professionals.
• Provide direct oversight of HOA financial activities ensuring compliance with statutes and governing docs.
• Maintain strict segregation of HOA and developer funds and reporting.
• Partner with Resort General Managers and HOA Boards to present results and budgets clearly.
• Oversee the annual HOA audit process and act as primary contact for auditors.
