FirstService Residential is seeking a remote Finance Team Lead to supervise the accounting group responsible for monthly financial statements for condominium and homeowners associations. You will ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies, while guiding staff and coordinating with leadership and auditors.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, 5+ years in general ledger accounting, and supervisory experience; CPA/ CAM credentials are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university. Five years of general ledger accounting experience; supervisory experience a plus.
• CAM license; CPA certification a plus. Prior experience in property management, real estate and/or residential management required.

Responsabilités

• Supervise daily functions of the assigned team and ensure processes are followed.
• Ensure timeliness of financial statements and deadlines are met.
• Prioritize and review accountants' work for quality and accuracy.
• Provide direction and resolve internal and external issues impacting statements.
• Communicate potential issues affecting statement accuracy to leadership.
• Provide ongoing training on regulations, policies, and deadlines.
