Job summary

Action Property Management in the San Francisco Bay Area seeks a Compliance Coordinator to monitor aesthetic standards and governing documents, conduct inspections, and document violations. The role requires detail orientation and courteous communication with residents.

The position involves patrols in a personal vehicle, coordination with management, and producing reports for boards. Competitive $30/hour plus monthly car allowance, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM in the SF Bay Area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property management, community association management or code enforcement preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain objective when assessing potential violations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and mobile inspection/reporting tools.
• Must possess a valid CA Driver’s License, insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle for daily patrols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of the community using a personal vehicle to identify and document potential violations of the association’s CC&Rs, Rules, and Regulations.
• Capture and upload clear, detailed photos and notes of each violation using the association’s compliance software.
• Issue courtesy notices, violation letters, and follow-up communications in accordance with association policy and timelines.
• Track and manage open violations through resolution, maintaining accurate and organized records.
• Communicate with residents in a professional and respectful manner when addressing compliance matters.
• Prepare compliance reports for management and board meetings as requested.
• Collaborate with the General Manager, Assistant Manager, and Administrative staff to ensure consistent enforcement and timely follow-up.
• Attend board or committee meetings as needed to provide compliance updates or clarification.
• Assist with other administrative duties or special projects as assigned.
• May require flexibility for occasional evening or weekend inspections.
