Job summary

FirstService Residential is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the daily operations of a community association in Mesa, AZ. The role focuses on delivering exceptional services and coordinating with the Board to sustain the property's value and resident lifestyle.

The ideal candidate has HOA management and supervisory experience, with strong leadership and financial acumen to manage budgets, vendor contracts, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience supervising teams in HOA or community management.
• Ability to develop and monitor budgets and financial reports.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operational and administrative management of the community.
• Prepare meeting packets, manager reports and minutes for Board/committees.
• Direct and supervise on-site staff with coaching and performance management.
• Manage financial operations including budget development and vendor invoicing.
• Ensure compliance with laws and governing documents.
• Coordinate with legal counsel on association matters as needed.
• Schedule inspections and coordinate maintenance with vendors.
• Serve as primary contact for homeowners and address inquiries.
