Job summary

Bayside Management Services and Consulting Inc. is seeking a meticulous Bookkeeper to support our HOA and condominium management operations in Florida.

You will record all financial transactions, manage payables and receivables, and ensure accuracy across ledgers and monthly close. Primary duties include bank reconciliations, generating reports, assisting with tax forms such as 1099s, and contributing to year-end budgeting.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SAGE 50 accounting software.
• Understanding of bookkeeping principles including month-end reconciliation.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Clear and professional communication.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Experience with association (accrual) accounting is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Record and categorize all incoming and outgoing financial transactions.
• Process homeowner assessments and vendor invoices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers.
• Reconcile bank statements and generate financial reports.
• Assist with tax preparation, including issuing 1099s.
• Support year-end tasks, such as entering the next year’s budget and closing out the fiscal year.
• Ensure proper coding of all transactions to maintain financial accuracy.
