Job summary

PURE Insurance is seeking a Risk Manager to conduct independent risk assessments of high-value homes, determine replacement cost, and advise underwriting and loss-prevention strategies. You will work with members directly, applying professional judgment and discretion to identify risk factors and provide mitigation recommendations that affect operations and exposure.

The role requires strong communication, the ability to work independently, and experience in property risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
• 3+ years of experience as a Risk Manager in insurance or related field
• 5+ years in high-value home construction, skilled trades, home inspection, or related field

Responsibilities

• Perform PURE 360 Risk assessments evaluating complex property conditions and environmental factors
• Analyze findings to assess loss probability and severity and recommend actions
• Recommend loss prevention strategies based on risk impact
• Assess property conditions and determine replacement cost and exposure significance for underwriting and operations
• Collaborate with Underwriting and internal teams to inform risk selection and business decisions
• Evaluate site conditions and risk factors across geographic and peril-specific scenarios
• Operate independently in the field with flexible approaches
• Communicate assessment results and rationale clearly with members and stakeholders
• Represent the PURE brand in members’ homes with professionalism and care
