Job summary

The Seattle Housing Authority (SHA) is seeking an HMS Warehouse Associate to join our team in Seattle, WA. This role focuses on inventory control, records management, and ensuring an efficient process flow for materials and goods.

The position is based at 810 Martin Luther King Jr Way S, Seattle, WA 98144, with potential for part-time remote work depending on the position. Ideal candidates will have warehousing and forklift experience and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent education.
  • Driver’s License and fully insurable driving record
  • One year warehousing experience
  • One year delivery driving experience
  • One year forklift experience
  • One year experience with using Warehouse Management Software

Responsibilities

  • Manage, track, and maintain inventory stock levels, including ordering, receiving, shipping, unpacking, pricing, and storing goods and supplies in proper storage places.
  • Receive, verify, inspect, and distribute goods and equipment to appropriate warehouses and satellite locations.
  • Assemble job materials for remote staff field requests.
  • Maintains warehouse cleanliness by organizing and consolidating products.
  • Operates warehouse equipment and machinery including forklift, pallet jack, barrel dolly, etc. to move, prepare and/or distribute materials.
