Job summary

The Health Federation of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced part-time Training Coordinator to assist in planning, designing, and evaluating HIV-related training programs for case managers and supervisors in Philadelphia and across Pennsylvania.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Public Health, or related field, plus 2+ years in capacity building or distance learning. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to improve training delivery and outcomes.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience in capacity building, training, and/or distance-based education.
• Experience working with direct care providers and/or community organizing.
• Knowledge of HIV topics and prevention training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify materials to meet training needs for specific audiences, including literature searches on HIV topics.
• Provide data assistance to evaluate training processes, track impact, and identify follow‑up training.
• Support the Program Coordinator by helping monitor training activities and collect feedback.
• Review HIV literature to remain current and provide materials for training programs and toolkits.
• Communicate and collaborate with the training team on projects and updates.
• Assist in creating and implementing a distance‑based learning plan with the Case Management Training T/A Coordinator.
• Plan and manage statewide trainings across PA Department of Health.
• Collaborate with team on statewide trainings and program goals.
• Meet with clinicians and funders to determine training goals and needs.
• Organize training materials, agendas, sign‑in sheets, certificates, and packets.
• Assist outreach to increase participation in HIV prevention training.
• Other duties as assigned
