Job summary

Bon Secours in Greenville, SC seeks a Histotechnician to prepare tissue specimens for microscopic pathology review, maintaining quality and independent workflow under supervision. You will handle accessioning, processing, embedding, and staining, supporting pathologists and ensuring timely, accurate results.

Required HS/GED with AS or related ASCP HT cert preferred; two years histology exp preferred. Benefits include health coverage, retirement and education support.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required; AS preferred.
• HT certification preferred; ASCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs histological procedures including accessioning, tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining
• Assists the Pathologist in gross examination and frozen sections
• Reports accurate test results and ensures quality patient care
• Maintains lab equipment and monitors inventory
